NUPACE - Exchange Student Program

The ÅÝܽÊÓÆµ Program for Academic Exchange (NUPACE)ÌýisÌýa short-term student exchange program that was launched in 1996. Under this program, students enrolled at universities that have academic exchange agreements with ÅÝܽÊÓÆµ can study in Japan forÌý4ÌýtoÌý12Ìýmonths.

NUPACEÌýeducational programs are unique and flexible combinations of Japanese language training, Japan studies courses, international understanding courses, and courses in specialist fields.Basically, all of the lecturesÌýare taught in English.Students are expected to takeÌý15Ìýcredits per semester, but they can choose a combination of Japanese language training, Japan studies courses, international understanding courses, courses in specialist fieldsÌýand individual research topics according to their interests and foreign exchange goals.Students can also elect to takeÌýGuided Research under the supervision ofÌýan advisor. Furthermore, students with sufficient Japanese proficiency can choose to take regular undergraduate and graduate school courses taught in Japanese.
