Mr. Norihiro Takekawa and Mr. Kei Muto (third-year doctoral students at the time of application) at the Graduate School of Science, ÅÝܽÊÓÆµ, have been selected to receive the Sixth (FY2015) Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Ikushi Prize, or the sixth JSPS Ikushi Prize. This Prize was established in FY2010 to recognize and support outstanding doctoral students who are expected to contribute to future scientific advancement in Japan.

Out of 150 nominees, 18 students have been selected to receive the Sixth JSPS Ikushi Prize. The award ceremony will be held on March 2 (Wed), 2016.
