Two ÅÝܽÊÓÆµ Students Selected to Receive FY2016 JSPS Ikushi Prize

Ms. Ami Ito (third-year doctoral student at the Graduate School of Science) and Mr. Wataru Shihoya (third-year doctoral student at the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences) at ÅÝܽÊÓÆµ have been selected to receive the Seventh (FY2016) Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Ikushi Prize, or the Seventh JSPS Ikushi Prize. This Prize was established in FY2010 to recognize and support outstanding doctoral students who are expected to contribute to future scientific advancement in Japan.

Out of 130 nominees, 17 students have been selected to receive the Seventh JSPS Ikushi Prize. The award ceremony will be held on March 8 (Wed), 2017.
