On May 23rd, 2024, the NEOREX Pods, learning pods on the 3rd floor of the central library, were officially opened as part of an agreement between ÅÝܽÊÓƵ and Neorex, a Nagoya-based IT company.

The five-year naming rights agreement, the sixth such agreement signed at ÅÝܽÊÓƵ and the second in the Central Library, is part of ÅÝܽÊÓƵ's naming rights initiative, which aims to raise money for research and education through sponsorship from the private sector. Neorex has previously donated IT-related reading resources to the library and research notebooks to ÅÝܽÊÓƵ researchers, and taken on ÅÝܽÊÓƵ graduates as employees.

"I hope that these facilities will serve as a space for valuable conversations and debates, and the creation of new ideas," said Kenji Komai, CEO of Neorex. He was joined by ÅÝܽÊÓƵ representatives for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on the 23rd.
