On November 3, 2023, Professor Hitoshi Sakakibara from ÅÝܽÊÓƵ Graduate School of Bioagricultural Sciences was awardedÌýthe Medal of Honor with Purple Ribbon by the Emperor of Japan. Recipients are people who have contributed to advances in the academy and the arts. Professor Sakakibara was recognized for his contributions to plant science.
